They all sent me to Plymouth glass in Thomaston Connecticut so I call my insurance company. Luckily, I had glass coverage that included the moon roof with no deductible or loss of no claims. Plymouth glass did a really good job, I had to leave the car with them for two days as it was a complicated job, so it was worth leaving it in their shop. Before I left, I asked to look at the invoice it was $6950!! They use genuine Jaguar glass from the dealer and a lot of labor. If you drive an F Type With a glass moonroof I can’t emphasize enough check your glass coverage. It’s super expensive. If you have a problem, I was lucky others on this forum have written how expensive this can be. It’s probably worth putting some wrap on the moon roof to protect it. I’m doing that for sure.
I would put little faith in that being the actual cost, when insurance covers the cost, a lot of glass companies will add as much as they can into the invoice and hope the insurance company pays them and if they don't, they then sue. There was a piece in the news about this issue.
