I had a crack in the moon roof of my 2020 F type caused by a flying rock on the highway. I brought it to Safelite but they told me they don’t fix it. I called Jaguar dealer who told me he doesn’t do it either and in fact, I could find no jaguar dealers in Connecticut who would do the repair. They all sent me to Plymouth glass in Thomaston Connecticut so I call my insurance company. Luckily, I had glass coverage that included the moon roof with no deductible or loss of no claims. Plymouth glass did a really good job, I had to leave the car with them for two days as it was a complicated job, so it was worth leaving it in their shop. Before I left, I asked to look at the invoice it was $6950!! They use genuine Jaguar glass from the dealer and a lot of labor. If you drive an F Type With a glass moonroof I can’t emphasize enough check your glass coverage. It’s super expensive. If you have a problem, I was lucky others on this forum have written how expensive this can be. It’s probably worth putting some wrap on the moon roof to protect it. I’m doing that for sure.
