Couldn't you wrap them in a CF wrap for far less than $1100 if that's the look you're after...?

the same as real CF. But, they have come a long way with the wraps. I've considered it.

Debating the same my self. But think I will probably just go with the wrap if I decide to do it. $1000 is a LOT of money for just some covers in my mind. Post pics if you get them please!!

Please let us know what you find out Vic. I've got the mirrors on my Evoque wrapped black and they have pealed up twice. That sharp angle over the top is making it a really tough job I guess. Before I wrap the F-Type mirrors I want to make sure I won't have the same issue!!

Sorry gents, no go on the wrapping, at least from my two contacts. They don't feel the vinyl will stick and one guy said he would have to splice the applications. Im just going to leave them for now.

why not try hydrographic painting - I know a few folks in the XK section who had this process done on engine covers for around $200 (see below thread from member richzak)

https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...2l-xkr-112687/

Here is a video on the process

Yeah I've seen that process up close. It's weird and amazing at the same time. If you have the black pack, it'd also be cool just to paint the mirror covers black....which I'm seriously thinking of doing myself. It would match much better IMO.
