On another topic, please.
Tonight my trickle charger although for days
was charging the new battery showed weak. I disconnected it and put another unit on to charge. The hazards button remained lit, so I disconnected the battery for 15 min to reset the comp. Then reconnected the charger, but the triangle button remained lit.
Please what shall I do ?

Hazard button light went out on its own after 5 min. All sorted, the battery is taking charge.
No worries. Happy bunny me.

That's when I will have the chance to get the oil with the right specs.

I wouldn't waste the money but please do what you feel is right. I'm not getting pulled into any oil debate, they both are excellent oils, nearly identical except the long life IV FE actually has a higher flash point and better cold start viscosity. Specs are published on Castrol's site for both oils id anyone cares. We all have our different priorities, but your original post implies a worry that your engine will be damaged. I can assure you that's not the case

Interesting that you couldn't wait 5 minutes for the hazard switch light to go out before jumping to a conclusion, but you disconnected the battery for 15 minutes when one or two is easily enough!

Glad things seem to be normal for you at last.
