I've never had any issues with them personally when I've dealt with them, but guess you missed the recent article on Jalopnik lol

 

I had no idea. It just reinforced my theory about tuning outfits, except for BMW tuner DINAN, that they are scamming customers with fake false promises. I wish DINAN would begin Jaguar tuning program. I previously owned a BMW M5 S3 Supercharged car . car was solid !!!

 

Wow.... If that's just partly true, it's just too bad.

 

Rumors have been circulating for quite some time that Hennessey is less than exemplary in their business dealings. I don't really care one way or the other, except that I am saddened when shops are dishonest. It's a tough business, and one I no longer am part of, but I was. The assumption that all shops are dishonest hurts, one ones of high profile that are do damage to all the rest.

 

Did you guys just get off the boat? I thought everyone knew that Hennessey was a scam artist. Everyone in Texas knows. He takes customers cars in and let's them sit for months after he takes your money and then steals parts off them for other cars among many other bad things. He's a crook.

 

Most of us are not in Texas. Still, rumors get out.

 

If you're looking for Jag Tuning, we have got you covered with some solid products, and some great reviews here on this forum.

 

I think we have a unique situation with Stuart here. He is among us and I feel, without having met him, nor bought or used any of his products, cares deeply about us, our cars and the products he sells.

Why should we look elsewhere when we have a vendor right here who we can trust? Further, the power of numbers we have here will be a very advantageous situation in terms of data, feedback and strategy.

Stuart, we will talk if my car ever arrives. Just need to worry about smog and factory warranty which we will sort out when I'm ready.

We shouldn't ever need to worry about dealing with a Hennessy or any other scam artist and hoping the stench coming from garbage companies don't affect his ability to keep doing his thing and create great products for us.

I'll just add......Stuart may be relatively new here, and is quickly building a good reputation on the F type forum, but he's been well known and well respected on the Aston Martin forum over on 6speed for a long time.

If I were a tuning customer I wouldn't hesitate to give him a call.

 

+1 Agree 100%. If I can just get a freaking dyno shop to call me back I would already be testing with Stuart and Chris. Jersey businesses suck!!! Having same issue with Vinyl guys. If you don't want to do entire car they don't want to call you back. Screw them too!!!! Ok mini rant over!!!

 

+1 about Stuart, even though i live across the pond Stuart has answered my emails very promptly to the point where even though he is 3000 miles away i felt safe in ordering from him.
