Hey guys,
What is your thought on how much a 2015 R will sell for today (oct 2025)? Am seeing if I’m listing it too high or waiting on the right buyer.
35,800 miles
Dark sapphire metallic
Suedecloth Option
Aluminum coolant pipes (Euroamp kit)
supercharger oil and coupler changed
Tranny and diff fluids
New rotors with Porterfield RS4 pads
carbon fiber fixed wing (stock functional wing included)
VAP springs
Yellow Wolf intake
looking at Autotrader and cars.com, I believe I’ve got it priced correctly considering the maintenance that’s done to it, mileage, color, etc in comparison to the other 2015 R’s on sale.
I would take a look at the completed F-Type auctions on Bring a Trailer: BAT F-Type. That would give you some data points of completed sales, not just "for sale" listings. A one-owner 2014 V8S convertible with only 2,700 miles sold today for $42,750 (plus buyer's fees).
I think you'll be hard pressed to recoup any of the investment you have in modifications and maintenance. I found that to be true when I sold my XKR two years ago, and I expect that will most likely be the same if/when I ever sell my F-Type.
All that being said, it's a great looking car. Dark Sapphire Metallic is my favorite F-Type color, followed closely by Italian Racing Red. I wish you the best of luck finding a new home for your F-Type.
Concur with the above. If I were looking I would be pleased with the maintenance items but would not pay extra. The go-fast stuff states loudly that the car has been romped on and would be a negative.

So as others have said, buyers likely won't value your modifications, so you need to price ignoring those (mods may even hurt desirability among some people). In shopping for an F-Type, I looked at value calculators and geeked out a bit, creating a spreadsheet that averaged out estimated values for a range of mileages and years (not accounting for options, just basic trim levels). Some of the estimators seem wildly off in some cases, so I think this evens them out.
Also as mentioned, BAT/CAB can be good for examples, but also check classic.com for a good running graph of values over time. One recent example I was watching was this one, on BAT. SUPER clean red R with low mileage (and all that implies, with these cars), that I think went WAY over-value and will probably spend its life as a display piece.
I know the markets are completely different, but as an example, I was following a white 2015 RWD R locally (Toronto) for a while, but it sold just before I returned to Europe, and I want to say it was asking around... $38k or $42k CAD (not knowing anything about its condition outside of looking clean in photos + clear carfax).
That said, a 2015 RWD R from my research should be between $30k and $35k USD.
The values on these are really hard to determine and as the others mentioned a good gauge is look at completed EBAY and BAT auctions. Maintaining your car is expected so no points for that. And any modifications could go against you which is one of the reasons I will have not done a pully and ECU flash. I have no desire to sell mine but at some point I will and modding so many prior cars in life, I have learned you gain nothing and sometimes it simply costs you.
I'd shoot for $50k but settle in mid $40's. The 2015 R model is unique for anyone that wants the rwd driving experience. Im that guy, I specifically sought out 2015 because I personally enjoy rwd over awd. Also significantly lighter, you have a 2015 R so you already know these things. It's supply and demand and just dependant on how motivated you are to sell. Anything in the $30k USD range is way too low but you'll likely have a quick sale.
There's an orange 2015 R in Washington right now on CarGurus listed for $69k. Has 24k miles and the carbon ceramic brakes like mine does. Way too high but im not seeing anything like yours in the $30k range. $45k plus for almost every similar listing.
Not anymore, way cheaper than it uesd to be. They can last over 100k miles and no brake dust. I have nearly 40k miles and 80% life on mine. Could always swap out for race brakes or another cheaper option at a later time. They look amazing too. I love mine.

Yep if you are at that point and the financials are a problem then you get a set of lightweight aftermarket steel brakes. The cost is not really a huge issue.
