Default Put on the Quicksilver exhaust

So finally put on the Quicksilver exhaust and omg what a difference the car sounds amazing. The best way to describe it is that it amplifies all the OEM notes by 20%. So basically it's the oem exhaust but on steroids. Detailed the car today so here some pics

Is your car new, as it has temp plate on rear bracket. Which county do you live in. I'm in Northern NJ.

Just curious, does the 20% increase in sound take it to obnoxious levels?

No not at all. At idle cold start very little difference, but once you get on it sounds amazing. Also very little drone

I would say that's 100% opinion based. Most people in the world consider the stock exhaust obnoxious, but most people aren't car enthusiasts. I don't think you can take anyone's word for it, but rather hear one in person to decide.

i wonder what the stock F-type exhaust would sound on an XFR. if there would be any difference at all.

Is the diameter of the quick silver exhaust tips any larger than the stock exhaust tipes.

I'd be happy with the black tips that you have on the OE exhaust!

Looks very nice.

Does the Quicksilver system eliminate the active exhaust, or do you still have the "quiet mode" option?

No active exhaust is gone. The only one I found that uses the active exhaust is the carpristo and that is 9k way over my budget lol

And I have heard the Carpristo in real life. It totally sounds like a** to me. Sounds like someone in need of a lot of attention, its just horribly loud, not even supercar loud, just douchebag loud. Acceptable sound when valves are closed. Just my personal opinion.

Excellent, congrats on the new pipes! One my main concerns is drone because I do a highway commute of 50 mi RT for work, and drone would be pretty annoying.. I've had a lot of different exhausts in a Porsche 911 turbo and drone was a big issue. Is there any drone at all at highway speed with all the regular settings (non-sport, non dynamic)?

Also, did you get it installed at a regular muffler shop or a tuner sort of place? May I ask how much the install was? And I presume you kept the OEM exhaust in case you ever want it back on right?

JEALOUS!

The Capristo is great for the Audi R8, but every car is different I guess.

Nice choice - I like loud exhausts more for my own pleasure than drawing attention to myself. I equate it like doing a fart - a straffing(?) run of sorts through a crowd.

Better to give than receive.

Sit tight, we're coming out with an Active version as well. Will be very reasonably priced.

I have a vert havent really tested out to much with the top up but when I did there wasnt any drone...as for the install I am diy kind of Guy so I did myself. Was a pretty straight forward install just jacked up one side but I am also 5'7 135lbs so I can squeeze into tight spaces hahaha.
