What do you guys think? I have a buddy who has a Shelby Cobra replica, and he painted it silver pearl. He then taped off the center section and used candy red to shoot over the silver to make candy red racing stripes- and it looks fantastic. I've decided to change the color of my F-type, and was thinking of duplicating what he did, however I haven't seen any F-types with racing stripes. Is that taboo? Am I not looking hard enough for examples? What do you all think?
It's a matter of what you think. Maybe you can have a shop lay some vinyl stripes on the car without peeling them so you can decide what you want.
Thanks for the reply. I won't be using a shop- I used to own a body shop many years ago, and I'll be doing everything myself. I was just wondering if anyone had seen an F type in person with racing stripes and what they thought of it on this particular platform.
The Project 7 comes with east/west stripes over the bonnet, the Project 8 comes with north/south offset stripes which I absolutely love. I'm probably going to run Project 8 style stripes in matte black over the top of my grey paint, reckon it'll look mean
