In the UK, Nigel is more likely to work in the accounts department than on the production line!

 

I took my Jag to the dealer yesterday to have them install the missing air intake bezel (part # 24). After the technician examined my car, he informed me that there is a backing piece missing and it's not just a matter of using some double sided tape and popping the bezel back on. It is part # 22 on this schematic. The part is properly installed on the left side of the car so somehow it was missed on the right side when they were building my car. So, now they have to order part # 22 and I have to make a return trip to the dealer. And to make matters worse, they will have to remove the entire front bumper cover to install it and keep the car overnight. Good thing they are providing a loaner as it is a 100 mile round trip for me. Grrrr......
