Can someone help me understand the difference between these packages. I'm interested in a red leather interior (on Ebony black). If I order the Red Leather Pack do I still need to order the Extended Leather or Extended Leather 'Upper' or are they mutually exclusive. I want read leather to extend to the upper passenger dash. Is it also available on the upper driver's side dash? Is a red steering wheel available and if so on what 'package'?


I've found the website a bit cumbersome on this issue.

when I was configuring and thinking of a white on red, I remember the sales associate telling me it would need to be the red leather pack along with the extension.... I personally ended up going suede interior

 

This is the Red leather interior pack but with a different selection for the dash console (bright aluminum as opposed to dark carbon style aluminum).

Extended leather upper gives you the headliner and sun visors in black leather. Without the extended leather upper, the headliner and sun visors come in black cloth. You can also get the headliner and sun visors in black alcantara (suede cloth).

 

Oh and no red steering wheel.

 

I got mine with the Premium Red Interior Pack.

The configurator at the dealer added the extended packs by default when adding this one. I don't think they will charge extra. You should also get the Upper (the ceiling) with suedecloth. It's much nicer than the standard one.
Red is not available on the driver side dash only the passenger side. Only above the driver's vent you'll get red. But it's enough red as it is, you'll see.

And there is no red steering wheel. There is a black suedecloth steering wheel but it doesn't have a flat bottom, which imho is a must for the F-type.

I am trying to order the full red leather but with the suede-cloth upper environment. That code does not appear on the 2016 order guide and the dealer is unsure as to whether it can be ordered that way. Any other information would be appreciated!!

 

If you order the Performance Seats in Suedecloth with Suedecloth Interior Pack ($1000), you will get the upper environment in suedecloth as well. Visors, a-pillars, and ceiling.

 

What if I want the red leather package in conjunction with the suedecloth upper environment? 2015 had a separate code for just suedecloth upper environment which does not show in the 2016 order guide.

 

I suggest you call Jaguar Concierge. Number is on the website. Ask them you want customer service or tech support to resolve this question.

I think it is a good idea and I wish I had got that.

 

I believe that the red package is about another $2500. If you go to the build site and do a build for the 2015, you will get a better definition of what package can be used with each model, color, and how much each item will cost. Cecil..........
