This is good advise! He recommended I did this a few weeks back and he was correct, my lower intercooler was at a min 1/3 compacted with road debree, mud, leaves... Was actually difficult to clean it was so tightly packed in the intercooler fins, and the front clip has to come off to get to it from the top. If you have any miles and havnt cleaned it you should.

I assumed it was just slightly sagging, I will give this a try next front clip removal, makes sense.

OK just been out have a look and on the SVR I think they may have already done what your proposing as there is a huge air scoop in the lower half of the lower opening directing air to what I assume is the charge cooler and it was indeed full of debris from the road.

So had the hoover out and hoovered it all out, attached is some photos and I assume that mine is raised from factory and bigger to aid cooling?

Yes, it's already done that way.

OK so nothing further I can do to improve it then on the SVR?

What does it look like on the regular V6/V8 then down there?

Still glad you mentioned it as mine was full of debris, around 1/3 of the cooler was covered in leaves and other crap, so glad to get all that out.

Hard to tell but is that any different to my SVR one?

Your snorkels are different though.

It is hard to tell, it looks like the SVR is slightly larger, it has different shape but not by much.
