Default Spacers pics... on stock suspension

Hi guys

Quite a few threads with spacers on lowered cars but I can't seem to find any pics on stock suspension

I think 15mm might be too aggressive on stock height but please post up what you're running

I thought 15mm was pretty much the thinnest spacer that meant you wouldn't have to grind the ends off the wheel studs?

Depends which rim you have. I still had to grind about 2-3mm off of the smooth part to get gyrodynes to fit back on with the 15mm adapters

I threw caution to the wind and ordered the 15mm through Lenny. I have the carbon blade rims with 305's and I will let you know in two weeks when I get back from vacation.

Just went and took some photos for you of MY16 V6S with 20" Blade wheels on 295's with 15mm spacers. Gives the car a more aggressive stance and fills in the wheel wells very nicely. Hope this helps. I've very happy with them.

I have the same as Canadairjet, but on the rear only.
Looks much better than stock and went straight on with no mucking about or grinding of studs. Here's a pic:

if you're going to run spacers, lower the car too..otherwise it looks somewhat like a 4x4

I agree when it comes to looks, the (relatively) huge wheel arch gaps are the only thing that disappoints me about the look of my F-Type.
Part of me wants to lower the car, but a bigger part says "no", due to a number of down sides (terrible pun intended!):
Cost - not cheap here in Oz, and I would prefer to pay my local suspension specialist to fit them rather than DIY.
Comfort - the ride is already hard enough. Not harsh, just "hard", and I don't want it any harder. And that's without the dynamic suspension turned on.
Getting in and out of the car - it's already a struggle for me and SWMBO, any lower and it would be a real PITA.
Parking/clearance - it's already hard enough to see out of and around other vehicles, and it already scrapes on those annoying parking spot concrete stoppers. Any lower and I would have to avoid those things altogether otherwise I risk damage to the bumper bottom lip, and it's still tough to accurately judge where the front of the car is. Same issues with driveways where I am, I already have to tackle many of them at an angle and very slowly and carefully.
So adding it all up I've pretty much decided not to lower the car, and to put up with the 4x4 stance.

yeh ***** to lowering the car and ruining the ride which imo is the perfect balance bw comfort and handling, i'm really impressed with the dampening - funnily enough i get out of my m3 competition and into the jag for a smoother ride to work

thanks for the pics guys, much appreciated, and as per my initial thoughts, 15mm is just a bit too much. 10mm for me would be ideal, but i can't get a DRM style in 10mm

so i ended up ordering a set of 5mm non-drm spacers from Lenny @ motorsport-tech in the custom sizing for f-type ceramics (that is 139mm OD)

i'll have to get them anodized black locally to blend with the hats and wheels, and will check the oe thread depth once i have the wheel off as to whether i can get away safely with 5mm less thread on deez nuts

When ordering from Motorsport tech, what did you specify as the center bore of the wheel?

Just tell him you want to buy spacers for a F-Type and he'll do all the rest.

Did most of you who installed spacers go with anodized black or just the regular billet finish?

When I ordered mine I assumed they would be black as thats what the large group order was. I was a little disappointed when they came in the regular billet finished, but once installed you don't even notice unless you make an effort to go an look behind the wheel.
