Default spare tire and jack?

Have F-types ever had spare tires, or have they always been equipped with the little compressors and tire glue?
I see that scissors jacks are sold that fit the F-Type, and they are the same as those for XFs and some other Jaguars. I wonder if the donut spare tires for these cars also fit the F-Type? Maybe they don’t clear the calipers…
It seems to me that a scissors jack would be good to carry in the car, even if one uses a hydraulic floor jack at home.
Has anyone already been down this path? Your thoughts and suggestions are appreciated.

I was under the impression that the convertible had an option to spec a spare tire (which completely absorbed all of the trunk space). Never seen a coupe with a spare tire, but considering the trunk is bigger, it would probably fit.

Yes, a space-saver spare was an option. The problem with the vert is that you can’t carry the full size wheel with the flat - you’d have to leave it there, and pick it up somehow later. Wouldn’t fit in the trunk or passenger seat. And the spare would completely fill the already small trunk, leaving close to zero storage space for the entire car.

My coupe came with a "space saver" spare.
It's 19", 135/70 R19, orangey red coloured and rated for 50 mph / 80 km/h max speed.
It fits over the 380 mm front brakes.
I am fairly sure the 19" version that came with other Jags such as the XF is identical so would work for an F-Type coupe.
It is bolted down in the hatch/boot/trunk with a large threaded bolt/screw so if not already there you would need to find/buy and fit the base piece that it threads into and the screw/bolt, and the optional carpet cover piece which has a hole in it. I would guess there are easier and cheaper ways to secure it in place.
I find it takes up way too much space so I took it out years ago and only once have I wished it was still in place, when I had a massive tyre shredding blowout on the freeway.
