Ordered mine. Took 5 minutes to install.
My dealer Ray Catena didn't want to fit the factory bracket "carry a PBA card" was a proposed solution. I've recommended the Sto and Sho bracket to the dealer: they should be standard issue.
Love the fact that I can pop it off and not look at it when the car is parked at home.

don't listen to buick, he gets a kickback for every sale it's definitely the "lesser of two evils" (the other evil being drilling the grill beam or the tow hook solution)

LOL...I wish! If you gotta have a plate, this IS the best solution and location and with the way it tilts...I must say it does look good on there.

Ordered mine on Monday, arrived on Wednesday with a check for $9 even though I didn't request one. I can't believe how small and unobtrusive it is. You can tell it's well thought out and well made. Buick....you done good!!!! Every owner living in a front plate state should get this solution.

I think most owners in a front plate state and monitoring this forum must be ordering them. He's nearly sold out of his first run of 100, and ordered another batch.

I came out of a 7-11 after grabbing some Iced Tea, and a local Police Officer was looking at my car. (no front plate...) As I approached he walked away, smiled at me, and got into his car.

I'm so glad some police are cool about no front plates!

I found this old thread on ShonGo bracket. I just ordered one for my car. Cost is $89 now with free shipping if mailed. The "jagforum" discount coupon code still works for a $9 discount. Has anyone seen an automated version of this for an f type where it retracts and projects via electric or battery?

Sto-n-Sho is an exceptionally, high-quality product.

The retractable product you refer to won't work on the F-Type because there's no suitable mounting location, because of the shape of the nose, and the location of the lower splitter.

+1 on both counts. Accommodates all plate sizes.

It's a fantastic product, simple, effective and sturdy. It's worth every penny.

Let's put it this way, if I had to replace it and found it had doubled in price, I'd purchase it again without even thinking about it. It's that good and the perfect solution for the F-Type.

One of the reasons I reposted, as I found the code info on this thread, and although it had been months sInce last post, it still worked. Hopefully others can save the $9 and put that towards some new valve stem caps or a Starbucks for two. Thanks again to previous forum contributors, pay it forward!

Just ordered one for my F-Type.
This is what I was looking for to address the front license plate placement issue.
