Default SVO Bespoke, custom coloured F-Type

So apparently, there is at least one custom coloured F-Type SVR that's come out of the factory in yellow.

Sorry it's a Facebook link...

Interesting...

I love that color yellow.

Must be a Tonka fetish left over from the sandbox.

I'm sure I read somewhere that you can order a new F-Type in any colour you want, and it doesn't have to be a JLR colour.
But it will cost you a packet!

Is it the lighting or what, but a couple of the shots make the interior look camel colored.

I think that'd sell pretty well around here. Expensive cars with yellow and black trim go quickly because of the proximity to Georgia Tech.

Yellow sports cars always look nice; yellow Vettes have always stood out, nicely. One thing I learned about yellow, with a yellow jib on a sailboat is yellow really does attract bees. Honest! A friend with a yellow Vette had the same experience.

I have seen a bright yellow F-type driving along the streets of Los Angeles several times, well before the SVR was available, so there's at least one more around. (though probably a wrap)

Jaguar Land Rover to roll out customized cars from F1-inspired tech center you would think they would try and offer the custom colour to people buying SVR's and High end models, certainly didn't happen with me, not sure how much they would charge for a custom colour but the SVR palette now is pretty limited, would have loved mine in Blackberry but ended up going for boring grey

Yep, I reckon that's where I read about "any colour you want", quote:

"The next step in the process sees vehicles moved to the paint facility, which, at 12,000 sq m (129,200 sq ft), is the largest zone with the Technical Centre. An "unlimited number" of bespoke paint colour options can be created here, with finishes that include satin, matt, chromaflair, pearlescent, liquid metal and duo tone."

Am I alone in thinking the hood vents on the SVR look stupid compared to all other varieties that we've seen on other models?

I think they're okay in carbon fiber. But in body color, it looks dumb.

Matter of opinion but I think that yellow ruins the whole car.

I'm not usually a fan of yellow cars, but I like it.

correct, cost varies but is around 6k extra They will colour match from any sample colour or item you can supply. Best thing is once agreed and painted that exact colour becomes registered as “yours” and nobody else can request it. I was told this on a recent factory tour.
