Agreed, despite the same horsepower and being RWD vs the AWD of the SVR, the 250 lb lighter weight should give the P7 the advantage.

yep, lighter, better suspension geometry, stiffer springs and dampening, stickier stock tires, better aero, etc. etc.

I thought the P7 was about 200 lbs lighter than a RWD R so it should be 300 - 400 lbs lighter than an AWD R shouldn't it? IIRC the AWD was 170 - 200lbs My car is 200 lbs lighter than an AWD R.

On edit; the P7 is supposed to be 45kg's lighter (100lbs) so with the 170 for the AWD, it SHOULD be about 270 lbs or so so 250 - ish is close.
