Default Traction Control

Playing around with the traction off button. So I see there is trac setting which means it steps in less often but stops the fun. Then there is a complete off setting which I prefer but I will admit the blower does make her a bit of a handle full which I like. Question is I have it off I will drive a bit and look and it is no longer off. What is the trigger. Turning off dynamic, switch from paddles to auto, out of sport mode?

The DSC settings will go back to default if you shut the engine off. They will also revert to default if you change the driving mode (normal vs. dynamic). I have no idea how paddles or transmission modes affect it since I have neither, but suspect that changing transmission mode will also set DSC back to it's default.
