Closed course had just come around the light pole in the background and 210 degree turn. At this point pouring on the horses into a straight. Everything off that could be off. V8s RWD fun.

Well that is half of the truth, sadly. EBD and ICE MODE will kill you too.

This problem is widespread... Subaru, Porsche, Camaro, Corvette, Lotus...

Problem with ICE MODE is, that the car will wrongly think that you are on ice and take away your brakes. EBD will think you are on a ice on one wheel (usually inner wheel slipping on a curb or hi-speed turn) and will brake that wheel which will disbalance the car. On Subaru forum there was a case when the car got off doing 100 mph in a turn because of this.

In performance driving, my opinion is, that you just have to know what is happening, how the stuff works and behave accordingly. That is the safest way imho.
