Default VAP Lowering Springs (Need Quick Reply!)

In the middle of installing these today and it looks like all four springs are exactly the same height/size with the same part numbers printed on them. Can anyone comment on whether it’s supposed to be like that and if they should be different from front to rear?

Thanks !

I didn't install my VAP springs myself, but I did look at them before they were installed by a reputable shop. The front springs were definitely different than the rear springs.
You may want to call Stuart at Velocity-AP to work through whether you have the right items

I got the fronts installed so I know they’re correct. About to pull the rears and see what I got.

edit: Mercifully, VAP confirmed via email that V6S uses same part number at all four corners. Looks like I’ll keep at it then.

Had the same question when I did mine on a V8S. Also confirmed with Velocity that front and rear are the same.

Are these being installed on a RWD or AWD car? Mine is an AWD F-Type R, and the front springs are shorter. Maybe the RWD uses the same springs front and rear?
My front springs part number showed SO-110980

I had the exact same question when I got mine delivered - 2014 V6S coupe RWD - I emailed Stuart and he confirmed that all four springs are identical for the V6 RWD.

RWD

Pics to follow. So far it looks awesome and I haven’t even driven it to settle the springs. Bad news though, both of my cargo lights suddenly went out when installing the right-hand trunk liner. No idea what could have happened. Can’t find the fuse that powers them either. Taking ideas

If not a fuse, it may be a connector that you loosened when pushing the liner around. Unfortunately, checking out that theory will require removing the liner again.

Just for clarity....

VEL-004: This is the VelocityAP Rear Spring for all models, and front for all V6 models and V8S

VEL-003: This is the VelocityAP Front Spring for the 2WD 'R'

VEL-003AWD: This is the VelocityAP Front Spring for AWD 'R' and SVR models.

Looks like a crimped wire is the culprit. Will have to cut and re-splice.
