Washed car and got rough running w/ "injector circuit high" code
It seems the continuation of Remote was based on Jaguars statement that they would continue 2G 3g so that the Remote apps would work. Well, 2/3 g ended in 2022, but my Remote continued to work. Door lock/unlock, headlight flash, horn sound, window control, vehicle location /tracking. That all ended mysteriously mid-December 2025. Still working on it. See the "Telematics battery" thread for All the details.

However, I do have to pay Jaguar for the connectivity to use Remote, is that right? The car right now says the services subscription is expired, so that’s one of the reasons I wanted to go to the dealer, to make sure it’s all sorted properly. I haven’t really worked with a pre-owned, web-enabled cars before, so it’s all a bit confusing for me.
First, though, I gotta get this “injector circuit high” thing sorted. In the morning I should know if the battery is properly charging; it is taking my 4 amp charger a long time to get the job done, which I think was exacerbated by the “OBD2 no-sleep” issue, now hopefully corrected with the battery ground strap pull.
@chaadster Check if the red hazard triangle is lit in your center console. You should be charged up in 12 hours with a 4 A charger. If not it suggests a concomitant electrical drain pulling from your charger.
the only question I have is that I do NOT have SDD capability in my car... there are only 2 USB ports in the cubby.
Did you get your 4G unit from this SX outfit in China??

Update:
After pulling the battery ground strap for 30 seconds and reconnecting the charger, I let the car charge overnight and this morning, had the literal green light from the charger! I disconnected it and fired up the car. It started and ran fine. I then shut it down, plugged in my Kiwi3 OBD device and cleared the codes, the engine check MIL went out, and so I took the Kiwi3 out and pulled the battery ground strap for 30 seconds again. I then took it out for a 40 minute, mixed roads romp, and had no issues at all.
So, while I have no definitive explanation of what caused the "injector circuit high" faults, it seems resolved. Was it drying of wires or plugs? Was it low battery voltage? Given that I'd gotten the low battery warning on the infotainment at one point, that I probably had a "no sleep" condition from the PPI, and that it took quite awhile to fully charge the battery, I'm hoping it was just electrical gremlins caused by poor battery state of charge. Time will tell.
No lie, though: I'm a bit scared to wash the thing! I went and got some waterless wash when I was out today, haha! I'm probably gonna order some of that Maxl One crap that's been all over my Instagram feed, too, just to minimize the need for wet washing...at least until my confidence returns!
Thanks to everyone for the insights and tips. I was so freaked out initially; my mind went right to worst case scenarios, but the forum helped me to be calm and methodical, so I appreciate the help!

Rather than use a pressure washer:
Rinse with a 'mist' of water, or just a low pressure, high volume stream of water....
OR
Stand 4 feet farther back with the pressure washer?

Someone else posted some other less pretty but functional solution as well. You’d have to search.
Are you planning to actively cover them in some way? That way you can wash your car properly and be less concerned.
the only thing about the TCU it has to be VIRGIN not used they are encrypted to a original vin number, i learned the hard way, but it helped me understand how it works, many members on this forum i have done, and you get your remote engine start back and climate adjustment, from 2018 on up your good
All indicators point to, as I said upthread, battery's low state of charge.
There was a post on here recently about some product to cover the plugs or whatever to avoid the issue on these cars that have the vent placement issues.

Relatedly, the first time I drove it, I noticed the auto start/stop was inoperative, but today, post charge, the auto start/stop was working. That's another indicator of low state of charge, as I understand it.
Yep!
Lately I was only driving mine once a week at most and it was a 10 min trip to the store. During one trip the radio sound quit, then got a notification collision notifications were inoperable. I put it on a batt. charger and no problems since then.
It is weird how a low batt. causing random electrical glitches, so now its on a charger all the time since I only drive it 2000 mi per year.
BTW, if the start stop annoys you, a simple delete is to unplug a little black plug in the trunk. There is a thread with pics on where to find the plug.

Oh, it does! Thanks for the heads-up; I've heard about the "black plug" hack in passing, but haven't looked into it yet, so I'll run look for the thread.
