Well, you still can't reach orbital velocity, but you're headed in the right direction.

Dunno about you but I have plenty.
But only once I removed the space-saver spare that was bolted to the floor!

No spare of any kind for me, but I thought I'd see about getting away from light pollution and found that my telescope and mount only fit if I break everything down, and I don't have much room for luggage after that.

Admittedly, it's got a little more capacity than my '91 Miata, but that's not setting the bar very high.

How big of a telescope do you have that would fill up the rider seat as well as the rear compartment in a Coupe?

I was allowing for still carrying a passenger :^)

I've got two refractors, both about one meter focal length. Neither fits without removing the diagonal. I probably should have gone with a catadioptric of some sort, but the price was right.

Either that or a big nitrous bottle.

Quick update!
So before we did a whole lot to the car (tune and exhaust) I ran it down the 1/8 mile track and was hitting 8.5-8.6 times. Since then we have added the crank pulley, meth injection and the 75 wet shot.

Yesterday we wanted to test it but we had heavy rainfall saturday. The only track that was open was a pretty crummy street style 1/8 mile strip and we did not have a ton of luck.

First run was all motor but no timeslip, second run the nitrous would not kick on due to temperature, third run we finally got everything working but ended up spinning tires trough 2nd (I'm AWD mind you) and then on the final run I decided to not spray until 2nd gear and we hit a 7.9. Keep in mind, I also added a huge wing which I'm sure actually slowed me down out here. May take it off in the future for some strip runs but I am not sure yet.

On a better track with better weather conditions, we can do a lot better.

The car has not been tuned for the meth or the bottle yet but I am talking to Chris over at VAP about maybe doing something for that. I am always waiting on their SC pulleys to come back in stock and we can install that.

The Meth kit I would recommend to anyone on here. There were no huge gains but the power delivery was much smoother and the car felt peppier on the top end. Only downfall is that I feel like the car did adjust some timing as there are no real cracks or pops from the exhaust any more if the it activated (We set it up to start sparing at 8lbs of boost and top out at 19).

The nitrous is... holy hell. Once you hit that button, you feel it. My warranty has been voided for a long time and we have other cars for trunk space so none of that bothered me, but the bottle is probably my favorite upgrade thus far.

The car will be getting tweaked over the next couple of months before race/show season starts coming back around in February/March.

I'll keep the forums posted, but follow me on IG for constant updates @punisherftype and I'll check the forums every couple of days to answer any questions/comments.

I'm not normally a drag fan, but this definitely looks interesting.
