Default weird whinning noise

I noticed that after the car is fully warmed up there is a weird whinning noise coming from the left front side of the engine bay. I have attached a youtube video for refference: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CnkF...ature=youtu.be

What could this noise be?

Others have found that to be a vibrating A/C line that needs to be tied down tighter.

that's odd, wouldn't it be a rattling noise then? Is this a DIY fix or should I just bring the car in. I'm worried the sound is from a pulley going bad or something and my car is tuned under warranty

The A/C line sound was described as a squeal or whistling sound. A high frequency vibration can make a metal tube resonate like a guitar string.

Was the car just tuned, or was the pulley also installed?

It sounds like a worn serpentine belt, or possibly the tensioner pulley. The F-Type has two belts up front. The front most belt that drives the supercharger pully is the most likely and pretty easy to take off with a long 3/8" square socket ratchet or 3/8" serpentine belt remover, which insert into the tensioner pulley arm. You twist counter clockwise to remove tension from the belt and slip it over the supercharger pulley to remove the belt. Take pictures first so you can reinstall it properly. Once off, start the car for just a moment, if the whining is gone it is the belt or the pulley. Reinstall a new belt. If still whining, change the pulley. Done. Maybe $50 for the belt. $150 for a new pulley assembly.
