What vehicles do you regret getting rid of?
I saw the post of someone selling their F Type and didn't want to thread jack so I thought it may be fun if it hasn't already been a thread on here but what vehicles do you regret selling? I have owned many, many cars in my years but would say the following 3 come to mind;
1. 1978 Trans Am with a hurst 4 speed. I was in high school so this was a long time ago but loved the car.
2. 1987 Buick Grand National. Bought this in the early 2000's and with under 20k on the odometer and in mint condition. Loved the car and worth a lot more than I sold if for back then.
3. 2001 Porsche 911 Twin Turbo. Bought this in 2014 and it was a 6spd with 10k on the odometer. Bought cheap at $44k but they went crazy with pricing a couple years after I sold it.
Anyone want to add their selling regrets?

It's not so much that I regret selling it as it went to make room for the f type which in a lot of ways is better (steering, grip, infotainment) but I do miss the XKR more than any of my other cars.
I miss the back "seats". Very useful storage space, sadly lacking in the F-Type. But the F-Type is so much better in most other ways!
Ooh yeah, but the XKR was so stupidly overpowered for the softish suspension, it was actually a handful in the wet but at least we were in sublime comfort while it fishtailed before the overly aggressive dts cut off power. I think with the db9 shape as opposed to the vantage shape, the XKR is maybe more beautiful against the f type's more sexy. I should have kept it for the missus, but we still had one of the kids at home at the time.
I have always bought something bigger, better or faster so look forward, not back. I am struggling to let go of my '10 XKR though which is why I still have it nearly 2 years after I 'replaced' it with the Aston.
My wife wants it gone so she can have her half of the garage back but she hasn't mentioned it recently

I regret getting rid of my LS3 swapped 65 chevelle pro touring car. I did all of the mechanicals and the body off frame complete restoration took 4 years. It was too nice to have any fun with.
I also regret selling my 2018 Camaro SS 1LE. It was a blast on the track. Should have kept it as a track car.

I miss many of my cars over the years but the one I regret not keeping is a bit different from the sports cars I have owned: a VW V10 TDI Touareg. It was very rare, could tow a 727 airplane (there is a video on YouTube), had air suspension that gave it extra inches of clearance when needed and was pretty stylish looking for an SUV for its day.
The only car I've owned that I miss is my old Peugeot 106 GTi that I bought new in 1997. It was a proper sub.1000Kg (950kg maybe?) hot-hatch that demanded you drive it at 100% everywhere and arrive at every destination breathless and full of life. It didn't have a huge amount of power (120hp IIRC) so you ended up extracting every ounce of its capabilities at fairly moderate speeds. Four-wheel drifts through corners, deliberate lift-off oversteer sideways fun, all in a simple drive home from work. If it had a weakness then I'd say it was only that I wouldn't have wanted to crash it, because the panels were wafer-thin by the feel of it. I've had considerably faster and more powerful cars since, but none of them have held a candle to the fun I had in the little Pug. No photos I'm afraid, I owned it in a time before digital photography and I only took one film photo of it shortly before I sold it and never got around to scanning it, but it was in Diablo Red.
EDIT: Oh, and it went through 2 engines before it's 2nd birthday. First engine was toast after less than 800 miles, whilst I was still 'baby-sitting' it through the first 1000 - 2 valve seals 'vanished'. The replacement engine blew the head-gasket 15000 miles later. All four discs were warped by 8000 miles and pads destroyed. The O2 sensor exploded in the exhaust within 18 months. It was certainly an eventful ownership experience!

My wife still makes me regret selling her 1975 Fiat Spider 124 convertible.
It was in decent condition and fun to drive, but the last time it stopped running it took over a year to get it sorted.
It was an early carb. model fitting up for emission control. An Italian nightmare!!
But my wife loved that car and still blames me for getting rid of it!!

Ouch, but maybe best she wrecked it so you didn't have to see the car as a reminder of what happened. Lost a ton as well in a divorce, just not a car I cared about.
