Will Gyrodynes fit an XF?
An XF owning friend has expressed an interest in my spare set, but the rear wheels are 1.5” wider than even those on the XFR, so I have doubts.
Thoughts?

XFR rear wheels are 9.5" and I suspect XFR-S are 10.5", same as the F-Type. but the offsets are very different, I think XFR and XFR-S are +66 and F-Type are +46, so that could be a real problem.
XFR rear tyres are 285/30R20, XFR-S rear tyres are 295/30R20, again the same as the F-Type.

The Gyrodynes are 9.0",+55 front and 10.5"/ +38mm rear. If we can get firm wheel specs on the OEM XF or XFR, plus some pics from the front and rear of an XF, we can see if there is any wiggle room.
EDIT: The largest wheel I see spec'ed for the XF is 8.5Jx19, +49mm.(245/40-19 tires). I'll grind the numbers and see what tire size the Gyrodynes would need and where that would place the wheel face.

XFR wheels and tyres fit easily on any XF, so all you need do is compare the Gyrodyne specs to the XFR specs. As I said before the wheel and tyre size won't be a problem, it's the different offset of the rear wheels that is the only potential problem, it might cause the tyres to stick out too far from the rear wheel arches.
I put 20 mm spacers on the rear of my old XFR when it had the stock Nevis wheels and stock tyres and it was "just right", but with 295 tyres they will stick out another 5 mm so it's possible they will stick out from the wheel arches a couple of mm.

I have a 2016 xf awd and have run staggard 19” ftype propellers on it.
i have a set of gyrodynes but no tires mounted right now if any of this helps

Sorry, the Gyrodynes will not work on the rear.
Nevis Specs:
Front 20 x 8.5, 49mm offset (255/35-20 tires) Rear 20 x 9.5, 66mm offset (285/30-20)
Gyrodyne Specs:
Front 20 x 9.0, 55mm offset (255/35-20 tires) Rear 20 x 10.5, 38mm offset (295/30-20)
This swap will result in zero change in wheel face position on the front with 12.35mm less inner clearance (probably not an issue) but will extend the rear wheel face outward by 40mm (15.3mm more inner clearance). If a 20mm spacer pushes the Nevis face out to the limit, the Gyrodyne will be 20mm beyond that.
