Default Adding jag coolant/antifreeze

Hey guys I'm back. Sorry I'll complete my requirements asap

Needing help finding out if the jag antifreeze needs to be added with distilled water .

It's already late in winnipeg and the shop is closed, any help or thought on this would be much appreciated.

M_Arq, the bottle should have instructions on it as to how to add the mix. If you are only adding a quart/liter of coolant, then I would add just what is in the bottle and go from there. Worst case the coolant is a little more of the antifreeze than water, but in the big scheme of things, it will all be ok. That will ensure you don't hurt the engine by overheating it.

Not sure what your are asking..But In your Northern climate, a solution of 60% Coolant Concentrate (Orange stuff) to 40% distilled water should be adiquate for antifreeze...Always use distilled water.

Thanks you guys. Sorry I wasn't specifying what I needed to know but both replies really do help.

The reason for this post is because I purchased a 5L of jag antifreeze and It doesn't say on the front or back for any instructions.

I've just checked the label on a new 5L Jaguar Coolant JLM209723 and it's got Health & Safety warnings in so many languages, there's no space left for instructions!

To confirm the advice given above, here's the relevant extract from the Owner's handbook:

The critical thing is to use the correct Extended Life Coolant specification. At least this information does still appear on the Jaguar 5L and 1L coolant containers.
