Default Brake module voltage

Hello everyone, I recently was working on a timing chain issue on another thread and while the car now runs I have some other bugs to sort out, I have a trac not available asc not available and abs light, I removed the module and resoldered the power pins however I'm unable to verify power at the wires routed to the electric motor.. is the voltage to be a constant 12volts? Or is it activated by the ecm when it is to function? I noticed the light return this morning and I really would like to sort this out.. thank you for reading my post I appreciate the help..

What DTC(s) is/are logged in the ABS module?

C1095 is the common one for the pump motor usually addressed by re-soldering the pins.

Other faults that have nothing to do with the pump motor will flag different DTCs.

Without the specific code, you are blindly guessing.

Hello motorcarman ,thank you, yes it is c1095. I did solder the pins however the light is back on and I can't get a voltage reading from the 2 prong connector below the large harness plug. I have no power . I did an ohm test on the motor and it is showing continuity. Do you know what the specifications are for the power leads to the motor at idle,or the key in the on position? Perhaps i need to check my solder connection again..thank you so much

I NEVER found a defective motor and I never had a module fault the motor after I repair a circuit board. I have seen pump motor wires with deteriorating insulation.

I have no idea what car you have so i can't advise.
