I have a XJ6 and I need a new hood and coolant reservoir and I've been looking at salvage yards but none have my year in my area, can you tell me what years are compatible with those parts please? I would greatly appreciate it if someone could help me thanx!

 

oh and its a 1993 sorry

 

The hood is the same 1988 to 1994,I also believe the radiator is the same,the upper tank for the radiator 1990 to 1994.

 

thanx! somebody is selling a hood for an 89 and i wanted to make sure before I buy it

 

so the coolant reservoir from an 89 wouldnt fit my 93?

 

Make sure that you check the hood for rust,being an 89 and in the rust belt it micht be rusty.You should be able to use the earlier resevour (might have to make some brackets or drill a couple of holes to secure it.)

 

The coolant level sensors are COMPLETELY DIFFERENT as well as the reservoirs. The 1990 to 1994 are the ones you need.
