Gas Nozzle Won't go in Fuel Port
I just purchased a used 2017 XF Prestige 2.0 diesel. (American, left side driver.) When I went to add fuel...much to my chagrin...the fuel nozzle would not fit into the fuel door. Is it me, the fuel pump nozzle, or ????.
Can anyone help me out on this?
Thanks!

In the USA all Diesel pumps have a green handle, larger nozzle, to prevent them from being inserted into a Gasoline powered vehicle. So there shouldn't be an issue??? Not sure what you have going on, as there are only 2 sizes in the USA Diesel - large, Unleaded / Gas small. Maybe someone put a lock of some sort into the filler neck? Or another possibility, the cap itself has come apart, and half of it is still in the filler neck. after that I'm lost Good Luck. ????????

I don't know if the 2.0 diesel has a misfuelling device, I know the 3.0 diesel V6 does so it possibly has one as well.
See this thread on another forum about the device and how to reset it (although it doesn't say which engine it is talking about): https://www.jaguarownersclub.com/for...ols_71232_menu
Easy enough to check - either shine a torch/flashlight down the fuel filler hole and see if you can see the yellow blocking flap, or else see if you can find the yellow release tool near the battery or somewhere else in the trunk/boot.

So...I went to a different gas station and all was fine. I did some YouTube research and there is a similar issue with a Ford (gas) truck (!?). It seems that there are slight variations with some fuel nozzles...apparently enough differences to make a difference from time-to-time.
This is my first Jaguar and my first diesel, so I think I'm going to have a steep learning curve. Thanks to everyone!
