Has anyone used the Misfire Monitor feature in WDS ? In my WDS it does open another tab with buttons and says to klick the tick when engine is running. But then nothing. I can press tick as many times I like but feature does not start. No error messages, no nothing. I can switch to another tab and the misfire monitor tab stays there in crashed/waiting state.
WDS has v43 software. Car where tested is my 2000 xjr.

Yes, instructions are not even 12 years old and they may help me as dock power died when something exploded inside of WDS (sparks and lot of smoke came from PCICIA opening).

I don't know about developer mode. But it is possible to get to Engineering Mode to add value of ODOmeter, and to brick your car easy with VID Block Editor and mangle "channel" value tools.

No need to find older WDS versions - 43 has range of settings for atleast XJ-S. If I'd have X300 VIN I could see if similar Options are available. I have no XJ-S, so I don't know what each of these do and do they require some exhaust info as pointed above.
