Jaguar 4.0/ 4.2/ Lincoln 3.9 interchangeability?

I'm under the strong impression (belief) that the 4.2 uses 32-bit Denso not 16-bit. The (S-Type) ones I have had apart have (2 of) the Renesas SH7055 and the PanPAG has SH7058

(The 4.0 Jag S-Type is non-Denso PTEC 16-bit as I recall.)

Mistake on my part- I meant 32 bit- the later 32 bit ECUs were torque based ECUs rather than airflow which makes it even more complicated to map
