Question New code reader plus extras for smartphones

Has anybody heard of this? It looks interesting. An always-connected link between your onboard computer and your smartphone, with real time alerts, trip routes, code reader, etc. not advertising for them, just curious if it might be worth a try. For $69 I think I might give it a shot.

Very cool. Looks interesting, so please keep us informed if you decide to try it. I like that the gps pins a spot on a map when parking so you can find your car, and that it can detect a crash and dial 911, provide your location, and even message your family.

Have a look at the Torque app and see if this does anything else.

Any bluetooth OBD tool looks about as good and hugely cheaper. This has (well, claims it will have) some weird extras if you happen to like them.

What a waste of money. It FINALLY arrived. Got it installed. It only does all those cool little features if the app is running on your phone, from what I can tell, at the time. Like I'm going to remember to start and run the app every time I'm in the car? It's primary focus is to challenge you to drive "green" and improve your gas mileage.

I'd love the automatic emergency call for my wife's car, but do you really think she's going to bother to open the app when she drives? Silly. Don't buy.

Sorry to hear that but thanks for posting as you may save others the cost and disappointment.
