Really need help jag s type 2000 3.0 v6
I was driving my car and it’s just died as if the key was just turned of. So I initially thought it was the gas pump so I tested it and it was getting gas but I don’t have a compression test to get the actual specs but I tested the valve and gas shot out, however I couldn’t hear it prime so I just figured I throw a new one in mind you I check all wiring and fuses and relays my inertia switch I checked it all I checked spark so I put a new gas pump in anyways just to make sure. But the new one doesn’t prime either… so now I’m wondering if it could be a camshaft or crankshaft positional sensor but the only problem is no matter what I do I cannot find where these sensors are every schematic is a different engine except for one. Which has a completely different looking sensor the the part on the website for my car so I have no clue what to do now. And through all of this I have no engine light and it just cranks. I tried reading it with my nt7500 scanner I believe is the model and no luck any suggestions!
Welcome to the Forums.
You are not saying where you are, BUT, the use of "gas" has me at US of A.
I suggest a re-ask in the S Type (X200) Tech Section.
There has been a thread recently regarding the Fuel Pump Drive Module, maybe??
Good luck
