Default Safe to drive?

I'm looking a 2012 XKR online, and in one of the underside pictures, I see an issue with the rear, anti roll bar drop link (see picture).
Question is, would it be safe to drive the vehicle home, if purchased, a trip of 1300 miles?
Thanks in advance!
Bob

justbs549, having that break while driving should not cause any major problems with the car. What you may experience is that the car is going to lean some to the right side due to the sway bar not providing some lift. This will also result in the car wanting to lean more to the right under a hard left turn. So, is it unsafe to drive that way, my personal feeling is no. Should you push the car into aggressive curves or do aggressive maneuvers, NO!!! To buy and drive home as is, should be just fine. Periodic inspections should be done and if you find that it has finally broken, drive the car accordingly.

Thanks! The seller said he just had new tires and an alignment last month....wonder why the tire/alignment folks didn't catch it??

Well that brand of tire I have never heard of? That might tell you the level of work that shop does?
Is the CV boot good? It looks a little funny in your picture.

On my X150, these were easy to replace and little skill required. For your peace of mind before your trip, maybe buy replacement parts and have a local Indy install them.
You’re going to replace them soon anyway.
