Im a mechanic and I've change a fair amount of fuel filters. I always get the old fuel filter and blow it back to see what's up with the fuel, and I thought I share with the world some pics of what I found:

I cant tell for the life of me what is in the background of the first pic.... but it looks like a small wee wee with a football helmet and some elastics on it.......just sayin.... LOL

Given that all gasoline more or less comes from the same refineries irrespective of what brand it is, how do you explain your 'astounding' discovery?

 

Oh yeah now I see it......is it a bad thing that I'm seeing wee wee's in pics?

 

Talking with an ex chemistry teacher and doing some research it has to do with how they maintain their fuel tanks. Humidity seeps inside the tank, mixes with the gasoline and forms some sort of acid that corrodes everything slowly... But i would like to see if there was some sort of experiment to prove this

Toptier is fear mongering at it's worst. Where's all the cars stranded on the road side or in repair shops that have been foolish enough NOT to use their gas?

I don't use Shell or Esso as they're not on the usual routes that I drive and I've never seen a Chevron Canada station. All my cars and other toys run perfectly. How can that be?

Even if their claims were true, toptiers states that their gas has more additives', that has nothing to do with the issue that OP brings up.

 

Gas stations. Gas evaporates kinda quickly at room temperature, so we are going to see get a sample of a couple of gas stations and see how much percentage of water is in them by weight and volume. we are going to use a couple of lab tools at the university. When i get around it i'll post what i find.

 

How would you support your theory that all gas stations of certain nationwide brands have underground tanks that fail due to age and/or neglect AND nothing is done about it, while other nationwide brands do the exact opposite?

Does this not sound like an irrational conspiracy theory instead?
