I'm not all that into Formula E, as I just don't really like the idea of a series where the chassis is spec. But I think the support series could be interesting, and might even have more potential for race technology to filter down to passenger cars — which is supposed to be the point, I guess. Also, I think the I-Pace racer looks pretty sick. Read all about the reveal here.

 

I like the blue, but I think overall the livery could use some work. How about something like a Beefeater gin one? I think that'd look sick.

The iPace can make a synthetic engine sound if you select it. Bah! They need to make it a big cat growl that gets louder. That would be sweet.

 

Went and watched the Formula E race in New York, it was stupid. Folks have battery anxiety already when considering an electric, one guy ran out of juice and they made him push his car back to the pit, he wasn't close either. The sound was actually pretty cool, more like a jet engine than you'd think (air noise). The smell though was like an RC car race. They really should have started with drag racing, that's coming. Makes for sense for an electric at this point. On the car I wonder how much of the race car is software?

 

Ran into this video of the car, I think E-Trophy makes a ton more sense than Formula E

 

I think so too... While there will be trickle down from a series like Formula E, there will likely be a lot more from this series, because the cars are so much closer to what we actually see on the streets.

 

Jag ought to offer that paint colour as an option. It really pops.
