Default 94 XJ12 Carpet Installation

I just ordered a brand new front drivers side carpet. Got a real good price :-)

Anyhow, is there a special way to install it that I should know of? Any help appreciated.

thanks!

peace out,

From I can gather, the two hole are for a plastic clip of some sort to hold it in place, correct? If so, one of mine is missing so where would I get those clips? Also, I haven't snooped in too far, but what goes through the round hole at the top?

peace out,

The round hole is for the pin that comes up to keep your accelerator from hitting the floor.

I don't know where you can get those clips other than a junk yard, or try asking Ken.

The two clips on the bottom (closest to the seat) come in two pieces. Both are will need to be ordered from the dealer:

turnbuckle: GMB9509AA XXX (replace the XXX with the trim code off the manufacturer's plate on the driver's door jam) cost is about $4 each.

Eyelet: BEC18239 XXX (replace the XXX with the same trim code) cost is about $2 each.
