Default Interest in .pdf V8/V6 Engine Guide??

I have the early AJV8 (AJ26, AJ27, AJ28) engine training course (Late 90's Jaguar Training Guide 180) and the later AJV6/V8 (Early 2000's Jaguar Training Guide 168) in paper form. The 168 training class was the later/more comprehensive and has both V6 and V8 specs in a single volume. I have copied the 3 ring binder/booklet for local repair shop friends and wanted to find out if there was an interest in me converting it to .pdf for easy printing a page at a time for dirty hands in the workshop!!

Sometimes I hate to pull the book out and get my handprints all over the pages but I also don't want to convert the book to .pdf unnecessarily !!

I just need to know if there is an interest??????

I took the training guide to the copy store today and they said they would get it scanned to Adobe Acrobat in a single .pdf document. I did not have an index as the booklet had section divider tabs that will not be seen in the finished document.

I'll see the finished product and maybe produce an index and get it rescanned.

I have 20 or 30 training guides from Jaguar schools and some I use but others I haven't looked at for YEARS.

I'm interested too.
Do you require some financial assistance with the PDF conversion?

Bob generously provided and uploaded a TON of his resources to our mediafire account. The only thing that was a bugger was the fact that the file names. Gus, if you know what you are looking for, will you take a look at our mediafire account? If you need the login info, let me know.

Definitely interested. I will be happy to trade you for a great set of engineering lectures given by Jaguar in 1996 on the design of the XK8. They are licensed, so I cannot publicly post them.

Is this thread topic for real or just a tease?
An update would be so so nice.

^No tease. Basically it is an area where we store large files that we then link to from the various Forum FAQs.

So everything in there is pretty much already available through the FAQs.

It just takes us a little while to provide user friendly file names/descriptions when required.

Rest assured that when we update, we also update the Forum FAQs.

But here are a couple for you to be getting on with.

Great reading.

Just downloaded the two that were made available. (see post immediately above this one)

They are wonderful! THANK YOU!

Even seeing just the line drawings is immensely helpful.

All thanks go to Bob (motorcarman) - he has a vast library of jaguar documents from his many years in the service department.
