Default FAQ dilemma..

As I've read through countless threads on various topics, there is invariably a suggestion to get an answer by checking the FAQs.

After inputting words like springs, supercharger pulley, headlights etc,
real basic stuff, I receive a response that my selection cannot be found.

Am I doing something wrong? I'd hate to waste everybody's time if I can find an answer in a FAQ.

For example, I found a thread on condensation in a headlight, but could not find it in a FAQ, even though a senior member said it existed.

Hey there edtexas.....re your question on Faq's

FAQ or Frequently asked questions are usually threads named as FAQ and then these are added to the overall FAQ post for that section. I notice, for example you have postged in the XK/XK8 section, so yours would be..
https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/s...ad.php?t=29800

Maybe you didn't have full access at that time ed? I just tried a search in the XK section for example and typed "headlghts" and dozens of threads on the topic came straight up!!
If you have any further issues, please, please ask again and we'll be happy to help
This is a very thorough FAQ and includes many many useful pieces of info.....Hope it helps some
