@John, if you really are stuck with editing your avatar pic.

Post it up somewhere that we can get at it, and we should be able to do it for you.

Thanks Norri and Richard! It was that or the Porsche, but figured the big Healey was a better match! Doubt I'll have another Jag for a while...now have three houses and too many cars...need to sell a house (moving to Florida in the winter, and may have some old 150 and ser. I E-type parts around once I get the garage and storage areas cleaned out...if so I'll post here first.

Tip - in order to get full access to your User CP;

If not already done, just click on "Default Style" in upper right corner of any screen.

Thanks,

Default Help for signature pic

I'm trying to put a pic in my signature signature, but although it is shown as "your signature pic", it does not appear on the preview. And yet, I thing the size is ok. What do I do wrong ?
Thanks.

I can't edit my signature. I have tried to delete it, and it just comes back. I also can't insert a picture in my signature, either by uploading from my computer or by using a link from photobucket. I get an error message that says "Your signature cannot be longer than 500 characters excluding BB code markup." I also have been unable to post pictures in the body of a message.

Any help would be appreciated.

Peekaboo, I bet it is the size, why not post the pic that you are trying to use here and we can take a look?

Best Cars I've deleted the existing sig, were you saving the changes after deleting.
The old sig had a bucket load of code from ebay which was probably your problem

I don't see user cp anywhere? Am I looking at the wrong page? I'm doing this from my phone, could that be the reason?
Thanks, Diane

If it's the mobile theme or app, yes, it will be different from the full-view desktop. Because mobile devices have less display area than a laptop or desktop, certain functions and features are either omitted or hidden in the mobile theme or app and to also streamline the usability. How you access some of these features depends on what you're using (mobile theme or app).

You can display the Full Site from the Mobile Site. Simply log in, click on the 3 horizontal bars in the upper left corner of the page to open the dropdown box and scroll down and click on View Full Site.

Default I can't even find 'user cp '

And the rest of the instructions make as much as much sense as a man in A&E trying to explain why his member is stuck in the vacuum cleaner.

I did the Signature for you:

However, you're on your own with the medical emergency.

Much appreciated. For the medical issue I suggested thinking hard about Dianne Abbott.
