Default Ignore feature

Hi, all of the other forums I frequent have an option to ignore a user. Can we add that here? This forum is largely idiot and troll free, but the option to remove certain individuals would be welcomed.

I don't understand exactly what this option does. Can someone 'splain it to me?

I usually ignore a person by covering my ears and saying "la la la la la la la la" :-)

Cheers
DD

I believe it stops them from being able to pm you and see your info. Not really sure on this forum that how it was on another forum I used to be on for my previous car.

It will also hide a persons posts from you and simply show, that they have been hidden.

You can add or remove people from your list as you wish.

But, removal from the forum is a last resort feature only available to Mods/Admin and is only used after proper investigation and private communication with the affected member.

Obviously the ignore feature is not something that the Mod/Admin team uses, that would be pointless.

The 'Doug Method' seems pretty good to me, at least you can still see what is happening.

Ignore feature may not be necessary as it should be dealt with shortly

Thank you very much for taking care of the "problem."
