Is it just me, or is that new Jaguar Plano banner ad driving anyone else nuts!!??! Just running the mouse over the ad (even super-fast) drops this huge box down, and you have to close it manually or wait 10 seconds before it self-closes. I can't even get it go away, it seems tied to my IP perhaps? My normal mouse route, from the New Posts downward, or cross ways from the newly opened tab to the 'reply' box always hits this stupid ad (takes up like 3/4 of the width of the page!)

Anyway, its incredibly annoying, and I can't shake it. Jim, seriously, these ads are way too much. If we must keep it, can we at least make the mouse sit atop the ad for a second, before it opens up the box?

I can't believe how angry this makes me, and I just now found it this morning!

 

Morning h20, I think that we had this type of discussion a while back. (browsers and ad's IIRC).

However just spent a while chasing my mouse all over the screen and I don't have that, what would be very annoying pop up anywhere.

Mind you I don't see any ad's at all. FF with AddBlockPlus plugin enabled.

Can you throw up a screen shot?

 

Thanks richard, I didn't do the ad block thing you recommended. It wasn't that bad. I may change mind in the next couple days if I can't get some relief from this stalker-like ad!!

Now, however, I get this Plano Jaguar EVERYTIME I login. Top, and bottom now...

 

I haven't seen an add like yours but I see K&N adds between JAGUAR FORUMS Banner and the cars .
My recommendation is to try a different browser and see " what it throws "

Ken I think the answer to that is yes, by country. I have just returned from my computer class for elderly Breton ladies (before anyone says anything I give the course) however I digress.

During the course I had them look at the Forum, with un tweaked browsers, I now see what you all mean, I had a K&N advert slap bang in the middle of the new forum banner!

Loads of ads's down the right side and French adverts accross the top and bottom of the page.

But still no flying pop-up advert.
