God no George
Dunno what the problem is as I can't see any issues. Please keep an eye on it and let me know if you still have issues tomorrow.....may be just a glitch?
The "Thanks" button.....You will never see it in your posts as you CANNOT thank you ( if that makes sense?? ) EVERYONE else can see the thanks button on your posts and thank you if they wish....Is that clear?

I think a post must 'age' properly, like a good french wine, before the thanks and edit buttons are available to the crowds. I'm sure there is a reason for that. Edits for me are always on, but I too, sometimes must wait a bit before the thanks button reveals itself to my cursor.

I always had the edit before cause I would usually post then proofread and then edit if I needed too. I was allowed to edit as soon as I posted. Just disappeared for me today. I cant edit any of my post anymore not even old ones. I think something happend.

I'm missing the Edit button on my posts as well. I set sites up like this all the time but I'm not sure what the issue is. I sure need to edit...

Also, inline photos are not clickable and some photo links I'm not allowed to see..permissions issue or something.

he american, take a gander at my signature link, and you'll realize why you are not able to do what you want...at least not yet, that is.

Well, if you do set sites up, then you will surely understand the anti-spam limitations that are imposed on new members here, and will probably have included them in your own set up.

You will of course have read the 'New Member Guidelines' that were included in your welcome email.

And, with only 9 posts, why do you 'sure need to edit'?

As you will understand, we welcome all genuine new members, but take measures to protect the forum from spam attacks.

Stick around, and get involved.

AH WEEDHOPPERS! I MUST QUOTE THE INCREDIBLY BEAUTIFUL PEGGY FLEMMING WHO ONCE SAID, "AND SEEEE!"

I just got done edititing a post that I made earlier today where I left an "n" out of a word. Go to some posts that you have made and see if the "edit" button is there. PEGGY WOULD WANT YOU TO DO THAT!

My site issues are typically nixed at registration, I've never really thought about limiting the edit button, just figured it was a bug. I actually read over a couple of FAQ's but guess I missed that one.

I just hate cluttering a thread with replies when I've forgotten something or mis stated, etc.

This site has been a wealth of knowledge and I'm buying an 05 STR tomorrow largely because of what I was able to learn here.
