Hi Mike, I believe it already exists in the form of "useful Jaguar links" link in the General tech help section.
Perhaps you think we should re label this "parts and services thread"?
It is essentially what you speak, but perhaps the re label would help as well as a tidy up of the thread so that all links are more clearly laid out?
Let me have your thoughts Mike.....this could be your pet project if interested
Thanks

Actually that is what I would be looking for. The only thing I would recommend is making it a distinct forum on the same level as the General Tech Help forum. Your introductory write up is pretty good in explaining the purpose.

Hey Mike,
thanks for the reply.
I wouldn't go as far as to give it its own section on a level with the general tech help.....you have to bear in mid we have sponsors here who we owe an allegiance too.
I don't see any problem "re labeling " the thread and having a general tidy up to make it more presentable to read and in an easier format though. It would of course remain as a sticky in this section!
If you'd like to take this on board, I'd have every confidence that as one of our more experienced members you'd do a great job
Please let me have your thoughts on this?

You want me to work AND be funny? Actually I wouldn't mind if I could get some guidance now and then since my programming skills are somewhat lacking. Professionally I do software testing but that is in a controlled environment that is fairly structured. I will warn you all that I have blue-screened a number of servers.

Jim, how did you know I was left-handed? By the way, the icon needs a TV remote for the right-hand. The other thing needed is a number to call when the website goes down due to my meddling.
The best blue-screen incident that happened to me was after applying a security patch per the documented instructions all four servers in the rack blue-screened. It was about that time my manager asked me how things were doing. I just pointed to the monitor. It took about an hour to re-boot them all.

Jim,
If there are no takers, when I get my 'sorting hat' on, on a rainy day I'll rearrange the thread in the same way as we have been doing with the various other Forum FAQs.
Vendors at the top, then others by type and parts/services.
Quick enough to sort, but checking the links will take longer.
