Default Timing marks on Auto Mk VII 1953

Hi all, another newbie question coming up,but you mob are very helpful, and might have a better idea than me.

Where are the timing marks on an auto mkvii jaaaag? .
I know on the manuals its on the flywheel, but I cant see no obvious inspection plates or anything on the top of the auto bellhousing, only the cover underneath..i thought i would post here before i pull the bottom cover off to inspect the flexplate.

I couldnt see anything obvious near the harmonic balancer, but its pretty grotty down there, and not much space to see anything.

Ive already done a google and forum search, but ive turned up nothing so far...

Driver's side. Look over steering column to bell housing. this side of engine stabilizer should be a hole. There is a line on bellhousing that you line up with flywheel thru the hole. Timing is 5 BTDC.

Driver's side and passenger side is a rather useless term when describing British cars.

Just sayin'.
