Description:
Just thought I would take a chance and ask if anyone had a couple lying around. Thanks.
Rick
Rick,
These fasteners are called 1/4 turn fasteners and turnbuckles are a completely different animal.
I only found one that is actually made for the battery cover, but it is grey.
There are more 1/4 turn fasteners in my bins but are meant to be opened with a coin rather than fingers.
Some are coffee colored and some are black.
They have a smaller head and might require a different receptical.
I think all will need a retaining 'washer' to keep them with the battery cover.

I believe my use of turnbuckle is wrong. They were indeed 1/4-turn fasteners, grey, and opened with fingers. I'll take the one if you are willing. How much ? Where do you live ?
I think the finger style was used for the 95 and 96 years, and the coin/slotted was earlier (?)

Hi Steve
Thanks for your email. I don't know how to create a shipping label. But since it's such a small item, here is a suggestion: Your local Post Office usually carries those bubble pack type envelopes. Purchase a smaller size and just mail it to me by regular First Class Mail. That would likely be easier and less expensive. I can send you the cost for the envelope and mailing to your PayPal account as a Friend. Or I can PayPal you say $10.00 in advance to cover the cost. What do you think ?
My shipping address: Richard Russell, 518 Broadmoor Drive, Chesterfield, MO 63017.

Rick,
I have all the shipping supplies I need in my shop.
USPS Priority Flat Rate Small Box is recommended because the tracking and insurance is free.
I'll try to get it packed up before the regular pick up today.

Hi again Steve. Don't need the grey trunk carpet. Just an aftermarket mat. But, since my last correspondence, I found a place. Just wanted something different than weather tech. Thanks.
