Default Passing of Gonzo from Hoodliners.net

just wanted to pass to the forum that forum member - tbirddmnd - and owner of Hoodliners.net, Gonzalo (Gonzo) Antonio Duque has lost his battle with pancreatic cancer. His hood liners were top of the line and he was a longtime member of the forum. Condolences to his family, he will be missed by all!!!

Many thanks for the heads up on this Steve.

Gonzo will be sadly missed by all. He was a great guy, always so kind and helpful, his hoodliners rocked and grace many cars in many locations.

I add my sincere condolences to his family, may he rest in peace.

I have just been on the phone with Gonzo's wife. She would want that any information on his website be temporally taken down. There will be a new supplier of his bonnet insulation
offered by a friend. She requested that somehow, if we were able to keep the phone calls from his business to stop. I have left a message with his friend. I hope his website can be changed by him to mitigate the tel calls being made.

Default Gonzo Headliners

Was looking for a headliner for my '07' Jag S type & found out Gonzo had passed away. The last post was two years ago. Does anyone have an update? Has someone taken over the business? If so please leave a link. If not is there anything comparable out there?

Pete - not sure what is going to happen with Gonzo's business. I thought someone was going to take over ops but have not seen anything formal. Not sure about alternative sources hopefully someone else may have info

There's an update and some good news. Gonzalo Duque's family business is back! Seems like his Daughter is picking the business back up! They say they're working to get back on ebay, but for now, hood liners can be directly ordered.

Nicole,

I keep coming back to this thread from time to time and I was sure you would get your Father's hoodliner business going again.

You have been careful to observer the forum rules on commercial advertising in your posts but, in tribute to Gonzo, we can and should make an exception with a Duque Hoodliner Productions link here:

Good luck in these especially difficult times.
