Fogranger red with yellow wires?

Fogranger red with yellow wires?
Part of the project on the 66 S Type is to wire in the Fog lamps that weren't originally installed. I've got the four position switch and even have the wires attached to the blue terminal on the 3 position switch. But I'll be danged if I can find the other end! My childlike mind rationalizes that they wouldn't produce specific harnesses for non equipped cars so the wires must be there somewhere.
Anybody know where they're terminated?

I was told the Red/Yellow striped wires for auxiliary lamps came standard towards the end of the S type's production, around 1967;
my 1965 does not have those wires, but curiously my 1984 XJ-6 does have them.
I had to make my own wiring harness and relay for the '65 S type, using instead 100 watt motorcycle lamps so everybody gets out of my way when I turn them ON.
Also I did not bother with the 4-position switch because it turns OFF the headlamps when you select the Fog lamps position, I wanted a lot MORE light, not less. So I installed a Lucas On-Off switch and made my own escutcheon cutting the center circle from a CD and printing my own legend to place behind the clear circle escutcheon.

you probably jumped the switch but did not add a Relay ? That will kill the battery if not burn the wiring and the switch! Too much load.
if you find the Red/Yellow wires in your '65, please let me know where, I looked and looked and they are just not there.
Curiously, my '84 XJ-6 did the same thing, it turned the Headlamps OFF when I selected the Fog Lamps position. That was the American-market specification when fog lamps came fitted.
What I did in the XJ, was to install a European Headlights switch which has more positions than the American headlights switch, so it gives me all possible headlamps/fog lamps/spot lamps options. No modifications to wiring was needed, just replace the USA switch with the European switch.

the diagram below is how I wired my spot lamps: I did not use any relays for the headlamps, not needed.
For the Relay I used a 1970's Marchal Relay kit that I had in my parts box. The Marchal instructions are also shown below.
does anybody remember the Marchal (French) spot and fog lamps? they were fabulous lamps.
