Moss Box Top Cover Compatibility
A spare gearbox has no top cover/selectors/gear lever.
The box has a cast-in date of 1/7/64 and serial number GBN86223JS which identifies it as from a Mk2.
I have a top from a Mk7 (JLN665CR) with the long remote extension, but the selectors are misaligned and will not fully engage second and top gears.
Are there other gearbox tops which will work with that box?
Your guidance would be gratefully received.
