Sorry Jose I didn't read your post properly, Brain inserted different words, I can't recall the thackery washer there, interesting why they used them there, I will have to investigate now !

They say ignorance is bliss, now you have forced me to look at that to either edify myself or jog my memory, I will find out which.

TilleyJon,

after you remove the black plastic cover off the SU fuel pump, there are three screws. The two larger screws have a thackery (spring) washer under each,
you can see their edges in the picture below with the yellow arrows
