wiper motor daimler 250 RHD 1964
Hi guys,
hope you can help. Recently purchased a Daimler 250 in Brisbane and the wiper motor is stuffed. Does anyone have one available or suggest somewhere to buy. Thanks

in the USA, a business called East Coast Jaguar located in Delaware rebuilds wiper motors and sells them in eBay. You might have a Lucas DR3 wiper motor ( 2-speeds ).
In Australia you might check with Jagdaim, they have an online store with contact information.

May be worth trying Nick Rogers at Min-e-bits in the UK. A while ago, he was offering them as upgrades for early Minis. You will have to ring as his website isn't exactly complete. His prices could be less excessive than some others.

I live in Pine Rivers near Brisbane and have rebuilt a lot of these Lucas DR3 wiper motors. I also have a couple of serviceable rebuilt spares.

Hi friend,
Did you try to disassemble, clean, fumble, mess around and reassemble? Had to do this in rain on the side of the highway knowing nothing about the part in advance... Interesting construction!
Didn't give it a big chance of working for a long time but it still works today, 15 years later... Forgot all about it till I read your post.
Not a daily driver, though, and prefer nice weather for this car.
