Wood trim removal
They are held by several self tapping screws which heads are on the outside and hidden under the weatherstripping. Pull the weatherstrip and you will see the screw heads. I don't remember exactly but they must be 4 or 5. Same for the front strips.

I replied on another thread, but the above from JPG is correct. The weather strip is actually the door seal in UK terms. You have to remove both door seals at the top to see the screws. You'll probably find the heads covered in glue so you'll have to remove it to get a screwdriver in the screw slots. Wood trims on the front screen pillars are the same fixing method.
The trim above the windows was commonly called the "hockey stick" and is there to cover the tacks securing the headlining. You will probably find staple heads on a later car, when Jaguar converted to staple guns. With tacks the guys on the line had magnetic hammers and stored the tacks in their mouth !! You put the hammer head to your mouth to extract a tack, then whacked it in. These guys were on piece work so they worked pretty quickly.
